(SCENE 1)

After finally attaining Nirvana, Govinda decides he wants to bring back characters in the books that he read back when he was a young Brahmin. After reaching the highest point of pure bliss, he still feels that something is missing. He came up to a theory that the greatest teachers don’t have to exist in real life but in books, and by bringing them back he hopes to learn more from these characters. How did Govinda bring these fictional characters to life? Since he reached Nirvana he was able to focus his meditation so deep that he brought each character to life.

Govinda: [anxiously] SIDDHARTHA! I am so glad to see you! I have much to tell you

Siddhartha: Govinda, it’s been a long time since we last met my friend, you seem excited

Govinda: Siddhartha, after my journey to Nirvana I have come up with a theory that even the greatest teachers don’t have to exist in real life

Siddhartha: [seems puzzled] Govinda I am happy that you have a came up with a theory of your own, you are on your way to great wisdom

Govinda: Siddhartha will you help me complete this journey by showing up at this event?

Siddhartha: Yes my friend it will be a new experience for you and I as well

Siddhartha: May I ask were this event will be held?

Govinda: It will be held at one of the fictional character’s houses, that I brought to life

Govinda: I came across this character in the book called The Great Gatsby

Siddhartha: When was this Govinda?

Govinda: Back when we were young Brahmins, It was on one of the bookshelves

Govinda: the story says that he lives in Rhode Island, West Egg I believe

Siddhartha: Rode Island? West Egg?

Siddhartha: Govinda, out of all my journeys I have never heard of these places

Govinda: It’s all the way across the world and it will be different than any other journey we have come a crossed

Govinda: We will have to cross the great blue ocean to arrive to this certain destination

Govinda: A country called the United States of America

Govinda: It is completely different what you and I are used to

Govinda: This will be a new adventure we will both learn from

Govinda: The man goes by the name of Jay Gatsby

Govinda: He follows his heart with a passion and is blinded by love

Govinda: I am interested what made a man feel like this

Siddhartha: Well Govinda I can only imagine

Siddhartha: During my journeys I came across a woman

Siddhartha: She goes by the name Kamala, she is a wonderful teacher in the art of love

Siddhartha: She will be of good use

Govinda: Siddhartha you have never seem to fail me

Govinda: That would be excellent my friend

Govinda: Let her know about this event

Govinda: It would be an honor to meet her

Govinda: We will have a get together at Gatsby’s house with the rest of the chosen characters

Siddhartha: I see were you are going Govinda, I wish you luck and I will see you at Mr. Gatsby’s event

Siddhartha: Till then, farewell my friend [Siddhartha goes back to the river]

(SCENE 2)

Govinda goes upon on his journey to bring back the rest of the characters. Meanwhile Jay Gatsby gets a letter from Govinda, telling him about the event that Govinda wants to plan.. Gatsby gets really excited, not about the party but how this could be his last and only chance to see Daisy again. So Gatsby quickly replies to Govinda telling him it would be an honor to throw a party for him. Gatsby invites Nick Carraway to tell him the great news, Nick is suspicious about Govinda because he has no background information about him. Nick ends up telling Tom and Daisy about this event and even though Tom doesn’t want to go Daisy convinced him to go. After a couple of days of planning the big day was finally here, Jay Gatsby’s house as usual looked spectacular all the characters were arriving and they all went to the ball room were they await for Mr. Gatsby to lead them to the diner hall.

[Enter: Blanche, Stanley, Stella]

Blanche: Oh my ! Stella what a gigantic house

Stella: Why yes Blanche it is gorgeous

Stanley: Sure its nice but how the hell did he get this ?

Stanley: Stella I think this Gatsby fellow is up to no good

Stella: Oh Stanley stop with that nonsense of yours

Stella: You never even met the man yet and already you are making false accusations

Blanche: Stanley you are just jealous of this man

Stanley: Hey did I tell you to speak !

Stella: Don’t be rude Stanley we are in front of other guest !

The Symbol of Construction

Society in America is very symbolic not only because of what has been happening recently, also on what has happened in the past. It seem that living in America contain lots of pride in the country. Important figures like the statue of liberty shows hope to people who came to America. The nation’s capital has many figures of pride and patriotism in the capital.
